The Arts Activated Conference 2007 – Call for Papers

Accessible Arts, the peak arts and disability organization in NSW, is dedicated to "a society in which people with disabilities fully experience and participate in the arts and cultural life."
Their forthcoming Arts Activated Conference in September 2007 is designed to be a celebration for all those passionate about people with disabilities and their active inclusion and participation in the arts.
It is the first of its kind to be held in NSW and is being organised in partnership with The Spastic Centre.
Individuals and organisations – especially from the arts, disability, and museums and galleries sectors – are invited to submit a proposal for presentation at the conference. Proposals can discuss a broad range of topics and can include non traditional formats. i.e. performances combined with research based papers; presentations highlighting a particular artform.
Due date for proposals is Thursday 5 April 2007
