Newtown Short Film Festival calls for entries

The 2006 Inaugural Newtown Flicks Short Film Festival sponsored by JVC and Powermedia invites submissions from all Sydney filmmakers for their annual short film competition.
Held over 15-17 April, the festival will feature a showcase screening of short-listed entries and talks by prominent film industry personalities.
Newtown Flicks strongly encourages filmmakers with fewer opportunities and exclusively supports Sydney's creative underground providing a network of knowledge and contacts for aspiring artists and ongoing opportunities for the screening of their work.
