M1 Singapore Fringe Festival 2007 calls for entries

The Necessary Stage is inviting all artists to submit their works for the M1 Singapore Fringe Festival 2007.
M1 Singapore Fringe Festival is an annual festival of theatre, performance arts, film, dance, visual arts, mixed media, music and forum created and presented by Singaporean and international artists. Themed differently each year, the Festival aims to bring the best of contemporary, cutting-edge and socially engaged works to the Singapore audience.
Last year’s inaugural Festival, themed Art and War, saw an attendance of 31,000; This year’s Festival, themed Art and Healing, will see 51 works from 20 countries.
The theme for the Festival in 2007 is Art and Disability. A write-up on the Festival and theme can be found on the Fringe website.
M1 Singapore Fringe Festival is looking for works in all disciplines and cross-disciplines that fall within this theme.
We look forward to applications from professional Singapore and international artists and companies.
The deadline for applications is 15 May 2006.
